Costa Concordia Owner Offers Refund--Costa Concordia owner,Carnival, the world’s largest cruise line operator is offering a full refund plus a 30 percent cruise credit for passengers that have tickets to sail on future Costa Concordia cruises.

Carnival also said it was contacting every passenger and crew member or their family and will be addressing personal possessions lost on board.


Carnival Corp. faces criticism for its handling of the tragedy and got low marks for response.

Carnival Corp said it was providing lodging, refunds and other support to people affected by the accident.

On Wednesday,Carnival Chief Executive Micky Arison said in a statement that he gives his personal assurance that the company will take care of each and every one of their guests, crew and their families affected by this tragic event. But after five days the incident left 11 people dead and 22 missing.
